Quick picture and off to bed I go!  Yesterday was a LOONNNGGG day.  Went home for the Easter week end and came back yesterday.  I was too lazy to drive so I took the bus with monkey... left Grand-pa's house at 11:30ish am and walked in the front door at 10: something in the evening.  Can you say; tired?

Anywho, though of you all, ran downstairs and took a picture, lol!

I cased this next card from one of the shoe box swap from our quarterly Artful*Inkers event.  I had not had the chance to play with my new "toys" so I decided to take the plunge and voilà!

Cased from Convention 2010...

Sunday, I spent most of My day cleaning up my stamp space and using up whatever card kits I had left over from classes.  I always cut extra Just in case someone would bring a friend (or 2).  I made over 50 cards and only took pictures of the ones that were altered a bit.  All other ones, you've already seen!

This is one I tweaked :-) At the moment, I can not remember the name of the lady and I have used her card, I know that I did give credit back to her the first time I cased it:-)... I have tweaked it again.

I love the Word Play stamp set and the butterfly is from the Thanks for Caring stamp set in the occasions mini.

I went to a class, and look what I made :-)

It is nice every once in a while to switch seats...  I became the customer and look at what I did:-) I can't remember if I shared it before or not but I find it lovely therefore, you will be able to look at it again!

SAB DSP and Strength and Hope stamp set!

I finally did it... play with the Strength and Hope Stamp set (not the digital version) and look what I came up with!  Pretty!!!  I used one of the SAB card from our Shoe box swap from our last quarterly event. 

 You guys might recognize it :-)  It was Heather's card!

Nothing to do with Stamping but rather happened while I was stamping :-)

Yesterday evening I hosted my monthly stamp-a-stack and as we all know,  girls getting together, card making, crafting... well we needed a 'sweet' snack (jelly beans) and monkey knew that we would have some left. 

After asking him XX amount of times to clean up his toys and put them away or I would clean it up for him (and they would disappear for EVER!!!!, lol) I ended up bribing him with those jelly beans :-)

I forgot that he still 6 years old and since he knew that the longer he took to clean up, the less candy he would have left as I am just picking away at his little bowl (I know, I am the meanest mom ever...).. only took him 4 minutes!!!

Here is the result of him picking up and removing the toys from the floor and putting them away :-) (I never said pile and he did not even take the time to use the plastic bins... half of them are still empty)

What is a Stamp-a-Stack?
The idea behind a Stamp-a-Stack class is that you go home with a 'stack' of cards ready to send out.

How many cards do you make in the class?In my Stamp-a-Stack Classes, you make 10 cards and matching envelopes, in 5 different designs.

How much does the class cost?
I charge $25. It includes an embellishment pack (ribbon, brads, etc) and 10 envelopes. My gift to you, place a $40 order that night and only pay $10 for the class. Bring a friend and get a $5 rebate next time you attend one of my classes.

Is the cardstock pre-cut? Yes, I pre-cut everything. It makes it so much quicker that way!

Can I pick which type of Stamp-a-Stack I want in my own home?
Definitely! Just let me know what you feel like and we can even pick the designs together.

Look at what I can do, lol!

Cute and fun isn't it?  Well, last week end I had the honor of attending a "celebrate leaders" held by a friend of mine (Caroline Label) andwe made cards!!!  It was super nice to just sit and play and look at what we made using the new DSP from the upcoming new Catalogue in July!!!  You want it now... READ HERE and I'll make it happen, lol!

I forgot to ask if this was an original or where she got the idea... Oh well, bottom line is that it was ready for me to stamps, sponge, punch, glitterize and assemble:-)

A Case from Card Scraps... Using MDS :-)

I know I haven't posted as much as I would hope... Let's make sure that tax season is done and over with, then I'll be able to relax afterwork and play with my stuff, lol!!! Just too exhausted to stay up past 8:00pm.  Monkey goes to bed and I do to with a glass of water and my laptop, hence the MDS projects!

On with today's card... I saw THIS CARD and just knew that I wanted to make my version of it...
 The original version used the Bliss stamp set and what looks like Shimmer paint and different techniques... I just love it.

Mine, a lot less messy (especially when you create in bed... nothing dirty about it, okay enough;). I used the Strength and Hope digital brush set and similar colours.  Tweaked a bit of this and a dab of that and voilà!!!

Now, I will turn this off and go to sleep... My eyes are really tired of looking at computer screens... See you in a few days!
