Happy Wednesday !

So today I will be sharing a little bit of everything. News, cards from past classes, and see where I go from here.

News: Well, some of you already follow me on FB and might have seen that I am going back to work... That's right, I was offered a front end position at Costco! I have been self employed for the last 2 and a half years and loved it... but I miss having a 'steady income', having co-workers, pension plans, lol! And now that we have a plan and support in place for the kid, I feel that I can go back to work (Part time for now) and see how things go.

I am still keeping my bookkeeping business going (cause I love it), just not growing it and will only keep a few customers.

I have only heard good things about Costco.  I am nervous and excited at the same time.  Tomorrow is Orientation for me :)  Wish me luck!

So with that being said, I will be posting ONCE a week for the next little while but will try to share more than one project every time ;)

First PROJECT, totally copied from Pinterest (My go to for the last couple of months!)
This was such a fun card to do and I really enjoy how all these colours come so well together.
This next one is one of the most EASY card to do!!!! Just pick you sentiment, a Piece of DSP, adhesive and you are off to one amazingly simple great looking card! To step it up, you could use ribbon instead of a paper bow, add jewels such as Rhinestones or pearls and if you feel like it... Embossing (dry or heat!) ... Sky is the limit!

So much fun!

Yesterday's class was so fun! I loved it and even though I ended up with lots of ink on my fingers, the cards were lovely! But you'll get to see those next month :)
Until then, here is another card from what should have been The July Quick card class ;)!
The designer paper is retired but I need to stop hoarding beautiful things and use them, lol!

Thinking of You card.

Well my uncle passed away and as most of you kinda know, I am here in Ontario and ALL of my family lives else where :)  This one was my dad's oldest brother.  He is now at peace.

My cousin is about my age and I just thought that with all that she has been through in the last couple of years, she might appreciate this cards as a reminder that she is not alone and that we think of her very often... Tomorrow, I will make one for my aunt too...

This is not a Julie's original.  I was very much inspired by THIS ONE.

Tuesday... What can I say!!!

Not much to report, and tomorrow is MDS Blog hop, lol!!! Another quick project from last month's Quick classes... A sympathy card. I know, we all hate needing these but lets face it, when it happens, you know that the card really means something :)

Happy Monday! Or should I say Yay for March Break...

Even though I don't get any time off, I am happy because I don't have to supervise my son doing homework and that means; no arguing this week, Woohoo!!!!
Ok, so I was able to quickly go downstairs this past week end and did one heck of a clean up ;) So I discovered lots of unfinished  (no to say unopened) projects and crafted away... cleaning got put on hold, once again, lol!!!
THis is one of the cards from last month's class and I had extra pieces left over... made a quick video to inspire you:)
And the video...

I need your feedback...

So I made another video last week (while my family was visiting) and tried to re-record words that would make sense ... I finally gave up and decided to try something new... that's where you come in.  I decided to use music AND insert the name of the products as I am showing them before I start assembling the card... LMK what you think and I'll go from there :)  It takes a bit more time to do but it is a lot less stressful, lol!!!
