Love this creation of mine... yes all mine, lol! This is a cute card (with tons of layers) that I had on display at the OnStage event in Mississauga on November 14th :)
Cute right?... I used markers, vellum card stock, archival ink, pearls, punch, sponges :).... all the things I like and a gazillion dimensionals!

I really wish you could have seen it in real life, this picture doesn't do it justice at all!

Using the paper doilies...

This is a another swap card received at convention. This one is from Shawnna Taylor.
What I like about this one is not only the choice of colours but the embossing and colouring onto the paper doilie... I love how the blue (bermuda bay) pops inside these black embossed lines:)
 
She also did a beautiful job at blending in those colours... I just love this card!

Paper Flower -- Sara Douglass

We want to show you how to make this cute Creped Filter Paper flower featured on page 25 of the annual catalog. 1. Using Fun Flowers Bigz L Die, cut Creped Filter Paper (six layers for Tangerine Tango petals, and two layers for Daffodil Delight petals) 2. Load Brayer with ink from ink pad, roll color onto smooth side of creped paper. Repeat this step until desired color saturation is reached. May need to ink both sides of filter paper. 3. Layer flowers in staggered order. 4. Attach together with stapler or pierce center and use a brad. 5. Scrunch flowers from top down to get desired look. 6. Punch 3/4" circle from Old Olive Cardstock. Pierce center. 7. Prepare floral wire and thread through Old Olive Circle. 8. Attach to back of flower using hot glue.

Happy Monday! Or should I say Yay for March Break...

Even though I don't get any time off, I am happy because I don't have to supervise my son doing homework and that means; no arguing this week, Woohoo!!!!
Ok, so I was able to quickly go downstairs this past week end and did one heck of a clean up ;) So I discovered lots of unfinished  (no to say unopened) projects and crafted away... cleaning got put on hold, once again, lol!!!
