Stand by for more pictures...

I am planning a class sometime in March where we would get together and make one card organizer book.  I only have 6 spots.

I am still putting mine together but I love how the cover page came out!

Stay tuned...
I did buy the tutorial from Andrea  and she just did an amazing job.  The class will be all pre-cut, scored, measured, etc...

Come learn with me... MDS style! Card one :-)

I had fun, almost one on one sharing.  The girls and I went through the basics of building a card, using the punches, stamps, embellishments and drop shadow features and we even took a quick tour on "how to create your own Blog banner" using MDS...

I will be doing it again soon, as soon as you let me know that you are interested.

To get ready for the class, Play in MDS and write down any questions that you might have to allow me to help you.  I have been playing with MDS since it came out therefore, I don't even think before I do something... It just happens.

Hope to hear from you soon, we will pick a date in March for the next one.

Here is the quick card that we made yesterday!

Sale-a-Bration...Open House

February 12th ... 1:00 - 3:00 pm

One quick visit, take a minute or two to make a quick card using Sale-a-Bration products, and why not pick up your Occasion mini catty and your Sale-a-Bration brochure (if you don't have yours already)

Door prizes, no RSVP needed and all of this is free!  I am only doing it from 1 till 3:00 pm.  Make sure to stop by! Everyone that comes will be going home with a little something from me for free...

Now, the important thing to remember is this.  I want to help you get as many things out of the Brochure for free and here is my suggestion:

Pick a date of my calendar  before March 31st to have your stamping party and get at least 3 people to attend that I have not met yet.

We will have a mini stamp a stack at your place (or mine if you think that it might be  easier... ). What I mean by "mini" is that the cards will be simple, we will make 4 cards instead of 5, times one instead of 2, the cost is free for those that place an order and $5 for those who don't.

You will get a to pick a free stamp set from Stampin'Up!'s current catties at the end of your party on me, a free stamp set from my special stash (retired) just for saying yes and sticking to it :-), a free product from the sale-a-bration brochure for every $60 spent (plus one more if your party reaches $395 in sales), you'll get to keep the hostess benefits, and you'll have a great time!... What do you have to lose? ... I'll provide the gluten-free jelly beans :-)

Catty case, just a little note!

If you guys are like me, you don't take time to look at the samples in the catties.  You just want all the products and then, you need to figure out how and where to use them:-)

So last Saturday at my January Stamp-a-Stack, I wanted to give the girls an super easy one to make, lol! I found this to be fun and quick!

  1. Fold a piece of Sahara Sand CS in two to get your 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card base
  2. Using the Beautiful Wings embosslits die, run it through the Big Shot once with the So Saffron CS and then once with the Pacific Point CS.
  3. Cut a piece of So Saffron CS of 5 1/2" x 3".  Take the swirls from the Baroqie Motifs stamp set and stamp of once then stamp on your piece in So Saffron ink (Versa mark would have worked just as well)
  4. Using the Pacific Point ink, stamp the "just a little note" sentiment from the Apple Blossom Level 2 Hostess set at about 1 inch off the bottom on the So Saffron piece.
  5. Take to Paper Piercing tool and poke holes at the top and bottom as seen in the picture.
  6. Take dimensionals and pop up your butterflies.
  7. Stick the So Saffron onto a piece of 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" of Pacific Point CS
  8. Stick those 2 onto a pice of 5 1/2" x 4" of Sahara Sand DSP (this one shown is from the level one paper pack from last year, therefore it is retired)
  9. Done... inspiration came from page 138, top left card.

Congratulations... Every Moments from my January SAS

  1. Fold a piece of 4 1/4" x 11" of Whisper White CS in two to create your A2 card base.
  2. Cut a 2 ” x 2 3/4” piece of Whisper White CS
  3. Cut a 2 1/4" X 3” piece and a 5 1/2" x 1 3/4" strip of Poppy CS
  4. Stamp in Black Stazon, the flower from the Every Moment stamp set onto your white piece and the "Congratulations" sentiment in Poppy Parade classic ink from the perfect Punches stamp set onto a scrap piece of Whisper White CS.
  5. Punch out the congratulations using the modern Label punch.
  6. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of the Sunny Garden DSP and run it through the Big Shot using the Vintage embossing folder
  7. Adhere this last piece to your card front.
  8. Cut a 9" piece of Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Poly-Stitched ribbon, tie a knot, wrap the ends around the edges and glue them to the back of the Poppy Parade CS strip.
  9. Using the Stampin’Write Markers, colour the flower, I used the Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and the So Saffron markers here.
  10. Stick the flower to your piece of Poppy Parade, use dimensionals to adhere to the front of your card.
  11. Using Snail Adhesive, stick the sentiment to the strip just above the knot.
  12.  Tada, you're done!
