We have spent many hours on the phone over the last couple of days with our provider and it would work for a couple of hours then ... blah!!!! nothing and on the phone again :-( So thank you Pam for being a good sport and 'endure ' my crappy mood this week end!

Anywho, we still managed to have the open house and mini catty launch sale! then we made 8 kids birthday cards!!!!  Woohoo!

MDS Hop :-) Yeah it's Friday!

Okay, this week theme is "Boys"  ...   Okay, don't worry, I will have the picture up by lunch time :-)  We had a bad storm here 2 nights ago and I have no internet since at home so I had to pre-post during lunch at work, then create my project on my Laptop, save the Jpeg file to a stick (that was so tricky as I couldn't remember where I used it last, lol) then today at lunch, I will add the picture.  That being said, I know that some of the girls had to skip this week's hop too.  Just can't remember which ones (and cannot access previous emails cause I deleted them from my blackberry... ahhhhh, technology!!!!) Some weird news :-(

Weird in a sense... I won't be able to post until we get a new modem... You guys might have been able to take a look at the light show that was happening last evening and then... poof! Nothing. When the power came back , we had no more internet :-(  We called the provider today and turns out, our modem is now 'fried'.  They are sending in a new one but that will take a few days.

If I can go somewhere and connect for free with my laptop I might be able to get something new posted but With everything I have plan for  this week end, I can't really promise anything and don't really see myself going out for coffee, with monkey and start working away, lol!  Bow-ring, as he would say! And I can't connect with the laptop at the office either.

So hang in there, remember my "mini" sneak peek on Saturday morning at 10 and my just kids birthday cards class at 2 pm.

To Create this page, I used a lot of punches, DSP and textured CS to fill.  Half a bow of the seam binding ribbon to create the ruffles, rhinestones and the sweets for the sweet brush set.

JUST FOR KIDS (AND MOM) CREATIVE CLASS

Now, let's try it once and see how the class turns out :-)

On September 10th (Saturday at 2pm) I will be hosting our first "Just for kids (and mom) Creative Class"... Now that the kids are back in school, let's have some quality crafting time in the afternoon...

Kids will get their own Party this Way stamp set Wood mount, they will make one scrapbook page and a matching card. They will learn how to use, clean and store their stamps (same as toys, lol).

On the day of the class, I will have inks, adhesive, dimensionals and punches for them to use.

Moms, if you decide to order more than $30 worth of products that day, I'll take care of the shipping on that order.  This represents a 10% savings to you.

***Have each child bring one picture (mommy will have to trim it down so that no little fingers go missing) preferably a birthday one.***

Cost: $25 (for the first child) $5 for each sibling attending.

Butterflies, and more butterflies...

Simple yet very elegant card received at our last team meeting from a very talented lady... Samantha... Even though it is only a card front, I LOVE it!!! I had been slacking off on making swaps before our meetings and boy was I missing out! Well, good news, I'm Baaa-ack!
I'll have more samples to share with you throughout the month!
